The 17th hole at the Gary Player Country Club (Sun City, South Africa) epitomizes great golf course design - offering plenty of risk, with plenty of reward. The 374 metre hole (off the club tee) consists of a tee shot over water to a narrow fairway, and a second shot to a green guarded by a large bunker on the right and water on the left.
